PhilSci at APA & CPA
The aim of PhilSci at APA & CPA is to track the representation of philosophy of science at APA and CPA meetings. Our methodology involves counting presentations that address the topics and that use the approaches characteristic of presentations and posters at conferences such as the Philosophy of Science Biennial Meetings, of articles published in journals such as Philosophy of Science, and of preprints posted at sites such as the PhilSci-Archive. The lack of information provided by the on-line programs can make it difficult to determine whether a presentation or poster should be counted. So the statistics represent an approximation. You can find out which presentations and posters were counted by looking at the PhilSci at APA & CPA Guides, which are available here. A statistical summary of our results are available in the pdf linked below.
