Minnesota Studies in the Philosophy of Science
Minnesota Studies in Philosophy of Science is the world's longest running and best known series devoted exclusively to the philosophy of science. Edited by resident fellows of the Minnesota Center for the Philosophy of Science (MCPS) since 1956, the series brings together original articles by leading workers in the philosophy of science. The twenty-two existing volumes cover topics ranging from the philosophy of psychology and the structure of space and time to the nature of scientific theories and scientific explanation. Ken served as series editor from 1996 to 2014. He was co-editor of Volume 19, Scientific Pluralism (edited with Stephen Kellert and Helen Longino) and Volume 20, The Language of Nature: Reassessing the Mathematization of Natural Philosophy in the Seventeenth Century (edited with with Geoff Gorham, Benjamin Hill, and Ed Slowik). He is currently co-editing two additional volumes: Philosophical Perspectives on Causal Reasoning in Biology (edited with Brian Hanley and James Woodward) and From Biological Practice to Scientific Metaphysics, Minnesota Studies in the Philosophy of Science, edited with William Bausman, Janella Baxter, Oliver Lean, and Alan Love.
